The use of mobile train booking app services has recently increased in South Korea. This study explores the predictors of discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service, employing the technology acceptance model with five antecedent factors: perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, fatigue, technology anxiety, and transaction coupling. An online survey of 350 users of mobile train booking app services aged 50-64 was conducted. The study used SPSS 23.0 for descriptive analysis and Amos 23.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The results are as follows. First, perceived ease of use significantly influenced transaction coupling and the discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service. Second, fatigue, as well as technology anxiety and transaction coupling, significantly influenced the discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service. Furthermore, transaction coupling mediates the causal effect between perceived ease of use and discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service. Transaction coupling also mediates the causal effect between fatigue and discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service. These findings are useful in understanding seniors¡¯ discontinued use intention of mobile train booking app service.
