The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of female graduates on the process of employment and initial work adaptation, especially focusing on those whom entered and left a vocational high school during the period of promoting employment of high school graduates by the government. To this end, we completed qualitative research to analysis the interview about 5 participants. The primary finding indicated that governmental policies related with promoting employment of high school graduates influenced positively on female graduates` decision-making of having a job right after graduating of high school. However, they experienced difficulty sexual, education, age discrimination in the company. Overall, the results suggest that the vocational high school policy should be more actualization for the female student and graduate. In the mid- and long-term perspective, to career development for female should be prioritizing their ability and support for relationship with academic-job career development than raise employment rate. We discuss the practical implication to improve policy for the vocational high school.
