It was described to show development of agricultural method, increase of agricultural productivity, change of agricultural management, development of currency, development of various industries such as commercial industry, mining industry, manual industry, etc. from the 17 th century. The development of economic sector became the opportunity to promote status rising of people who accumulated assets socially and was connected to the growth of common spirit by expansion of educational opportunities. On the other hand, in the 19 th century, court governors focused on individual benefits rather than public welfare as well as rural governors collected excessive taxes, so the livelihood of the people got into a serious mess. Due to the Samjeong disorder, farmers strongly resisted and finally, caused the occurrence of a riot. The reason for collapsing the outcomes of social and economic development in the 17 th and 18 th centuries all at once was rightly power politics.
In the description, there are several errors and exaggerations.
Reorganization of taxation system fulfilled for the stability of people¡¯s livelihood was evaluated as the policy that could not make a big benefit to farmers regardless of the purposes. However, it¡¯s judged not to conduct the analysis and positive examination of the differences by period. For the contents of agricultural development, it was not analyzing the actual productivity and there were historial limits to generalize new method of cultivation. Currency distribution that can be a key of product economic development overlooked the purpose of national finance securement and it was relatively difficult to estimate the level of commercial history¡¯s development. The division of the gentries and change of status system did not reflect the studies suggesting new discussions sufficiently and was described as only process of modern development. Power politics that was nominated as the reason for the 19 th century confusion includes more emotional description and biased evaluation than positive analysis. As textbooks make a lot of effects on students¡¯ awareness on history, it¡¯s necessary to revise improper expression and biased evaluation and supplement carefully based on advanced studies of the academic world.
