This paper examines on Yuhan-Kimberly¡¯s CSV development process in senior business. Based upon the structural, resource-based, and relational perspectives, critical factors influencing on the process of CSV are extracted.
the case study on Yuhan-Kimberly¡¯s CSV development process in senior business shows the following characteristics. Firstly, the company established a dedicated team to develop a CSV strategy. When the CSV TFT has fully created a successful CSV model, it has set up a CSV department to drive its implementation. Secondly, the company developed the interdepartmental and inter-organizational collaborative relationships for fulfilling the CSV business. Specifically, the cooperation among the internal departments played an important role in its front-end phase, on the other hand the partnerships with NGOs was critical during its implementation phase.
Finally, the critical factors influence upon the CSV development process are organizational capabilities acquired through the former CSR experiences, the CEO¡¯s commitment and support, organizational culture, etc.
Yuhan-Kimberly¡¯s CSV through ¡®Senior Business¡¯ is an example that deserves attention. Yuhan-Kimberly¡¯s example is expected to be a model case for both academy and practice. Based upon the case study, we suggest an ideal approach for the CSV development process and then advance several managerial implications from our research.
