본 연구는 21C 대학생역량 척도(21C College Student Competency Scale : 21CCSCS)를 개발하여 타당화하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 대학생역량에 포함된 하위요인은 창의성과 혁신, 비판적 사고와 문제해결, 의사소통과 협력, 정보미디어, 정보통신, 삶과 진로, 주도적 학습 및 자기주도성, 사회성 및 다문화, 생산성과 책무성, 리더십과 책임을 포함하고 있다. 일차적으로 이들 10개 하위요인을 포함하는 총 41개 문항을 개발하여, 이를 D 대학교 학생 285명을 대상으로 실시하여 문항분석을 하였다. 분석 결과에 기초하여 35개 문항으로 구성된 예비척도를 구축하여 H 대학교 학생 576명을 대상으로 실시한 자료에 대해 확인적 요인분석을 통해 최종 척도에 대한 분석을 하였다. 최종척도에 대한 문항내적 일치도 Cronbach α, 요인구조 모형의 적합도 및 타당도 분석을 통해 타당화하였다. 그 결과 21C 대학생역량 척도 35개 문항 전체 신뢰도Cronbach α는 .957로 아주 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 하위요인의 Cronbach α는 .814 ∼ .916의 범위를 보였다. 그리고 요인분석의 결과 10개 하위요인의 총 설명변량은 77.512%로 나타났다.
35개 문항으로 구성된 모형의 적합도 CFI, TLI는 .90 이상, RMSEA는 .08 이하, 그리고 X2/(df)는 3이하로 나타나 수용 가능한 적합도 기준치를 충족시켜 구조적으로 적합한 모형으로 판명되었다. 그리고 준거 타당도 분석 결과 대학생의 학업적 적응능력과 r = .305 ～ .557(p < .01), 사회적 자본과 r = .334 ～ .556(p < .01), 학교기본심리욕구와 r = .266 ～ .458(p < .01)의 상관범위를 나타내었다. 또한 탐색집단과 교차집단 간의 교차타당도와 신뢰도의 분석 결과 일반화가능성이 높고 안정적인 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 척도는 대학생들의 학습능력과 이들에게 요구되는 혁신역량과 관련된 연구를 진작시킬 뿐만 아니라 21C 대학생역량 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발에 유익한 도구가 될 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and to validate 21C College Student Competency Scale (21CCSCS). The final scale included 35 items consisting with 10 subfactors, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration, information, media, and technology(IMT),
information, communication and technology (ICT), life and career, initiative and selfdirection, social and cross cultural skills, teams productivity and accountability, leadership and responsibility based on the partnership for 21st Century skill(2011).
A total 861 students from D and H University participated in this study. The data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 22.0 program. Pearson correlation, reliability, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses using
structural equation model were executed. The results showed that the model fit indexes of TLI, CFI, RMSEA, and χ²/df value were satisfied with the criteria for the fit indices. The implications for future study were suggested.
