This study investigates the effects of self-leadership on subjective well being and the mediating effects of P-J fit and P-O fit in the relationships between self-leadership and subjective well-being. In addition, this study examines the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS) in the link not only between self-leadership and P-O fit and but also between P-O fit and subjective well-being. The proposed hypotheses were tested by structure equation modeling, mediated moderation and moderated mediation modeling, using data collected from 340 military officers. The results revealed that self-leadership positively related to the subjective well being and both P-O fit and P-J fit partially mediated the relationships. The findings also showed that POS moderated the relationships between self-leadership and P-O fit as well as between P-O fit and subjective well being. Specifically, POS enhances the positive effects of self-leadership on PO fit and of PO fit and subjective well-being through mediation PO fit. There results contributes to knowledge on self-leadership, and P-E fit, focusing on the subjective well-being in terms of employees happiness.
