The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of moral imagination as well as methods to cultivate moral imagination. I suggested the integrated approach to define the concept of imagination, which takes both traditional approach and modern approach partly. In integrated approach, I considered imagination is related with image, image- forming as well as thought, knowledge, creativity and invention. Moral imagination based on the integrated approach is the capacity to imagine others' realities beyond the egocentric perspective, imagine new possibility out of conventional approach, understand situations of others and share emotions of others, imagine conceivable outcomes, treat other as end-in-itself and value the other's well-being as an end in itself. Several methods to cultivate moral imagination are imaginal dialogues, telling or writing stories of real-life experiences, narrative imagination, empathic imagination, role-playing and role-taking. I also suggested the role of teacher as stimulating imaginative capacity.
