The aim of this rearch is to tapping a view of Time & Space of Buddhist and Confucianist in the first term of Chosun Dynasty. A representative Buddhist Deuktong Gihwa(Ôð÷× Ðùûú) & Chonghan Suljam(ôèùÎ àäíÔ) in the first term of Chosun Dynasty sawing on Time & Space as a view of the three states(ß²á¦) and the universe be based theory of Yeon-ki (æÞÑÃ). A representative Confucianist Sambong Chongdocheon(ß²Üè ï÷Ô³îî) & Yangchon Gwongeun(åÕõ½ ÏíÐÎ) sawing on Time & Space as a view of the one state(ìéá¦) and the earth be based theory of Saengsaeng(ßæßæ).
A view of Time & Space of Buddhist establish at theory of Yeon-ki that explain the phenomenal world according to cause & result of karma and that of Confucianist secure at theory of Saengsaeng that explain the phenomeneal world according to gather & scatter(ö©ß¤) of Ki(Ѩ). Differences of Time & Space in Two Thoughts are 1) Buddhism be based three world & the universe and Confucinism be based one world & the earth, 2) Buddhism saw Self as the subject of cause & result of karma and Confucinism saw Taegeuk (÷¼Ð¿) as the subject of gather & scatter of Ki.
But there are not only estranged but also the level of the land of mutual understanding in a view of Time & Space of Buddhist and Confucianist in the first term of Chosun Dynasty. A view of Time of three states & Space of the universe of Buddhism be based theory of Yeon-ki, and a view of Time & Space of Confucianism be based theory of saengsaeng that man and objects continuously bear and bear which a view of history as circular reasoning and which a view of space with the globe as a central figure for model of the earth secure a passageway of mutual understanding at the side of rebirth, cause & result, retribution.
